about me

okay, i went out of school to get my universal adapter with the help of my buddy and a couple of my friends. haha (: cost me a freaking 14 900 won, which is around S$18? gosh.

but thanks to the adapter, i can finally online and upload my photos (:

okay, so after the plane ride we bought bus tickets to seoul station!



inside the bus. doesn't seem very impressive, but surprisingly quite comfortable. haha.

after 1+hrs, we reached seoul station!

after we bought the tickets we wanted to use the public telephone to call the course coordinator over at the pusan national university but we didn't look very sure of how to use the phone in the first place, so one ah pek approached us and spoke to us in japanese. we wakalimasen what he was talking about, so he asked which country we came from and later we realised he was a korean. he saw that we had problems so he tried to help us in the calling and stuffs. after calling we realised we were all late for our train, hence the ah pek brought us to the counter again to have the timing pushed back. there goes 5100 won )):

okay nevermind, anyway this is the interior of the famous KTX, korea's bullet train. haha.

our buddies were waiting for us at the final stop at pusan. we took a cab down to the IRO of the university.



doesn't look like a school, i know. hahaha.

and after that as i mentioned, i climbed lucky heightssss up to the dorm. can kill loh. my palms are going to grow blisters from the dragging of luggage already. i can't imagine everytime we leave the school, we have to climb the lucky heightssss to get back to our dorm. omg lah.. it sucks even without luggage. we were all complaining. the koreans must think that singaporeans are all spoilt :x haha.. i bet my leg muscles will become very strong after 1 month of lucky heightssss. hahaha.

anyway, my dorm looks like this.

now u see why we had to climb so many hills to get up there (: maybe it's worth it coz it's such a nice view from the peak. the whole university is built on top of a hill anyway, so nus and ntu peeps, please do not complain about the hills and slopes u're climbing in school. the slopes here, i swear, are on average 45deg steep.

today is edna's birthday.. so our buddies actually came together to throw a mini party for her at the student's lounge of our dorm!



so heart-warming (: these koreans are really nice people! it seems like one of the guys is also a fan of super junior? yeah! hahaha :DD

lecture tomorrow at 9am! then there'll be orientation, campus tour and medical checkup (: think we're all going to learn taekwondo sometime soon (: hehe!
